Career Resources

So you're thinking about getting a job or internship? You've come to the right place. (note: if you're trying to avoid getting a job, see Fellowships).

    Eliot Resources

The Eliot House community is rich with resources that can help you develop your career. To learn about what other Eliot students are doing, check out the Eliot Summer internships page. Also keep an eye out for the soon-to-be-launched Eliot alumni database and other opportunities to connect with alumni throughout the year.

If you are looking for help identifying the right next steps or would like to set up an advising appointment, please contact Matt Lee (mlee@hbs.edu), the resident pre-career tutor.

    Harvard College Resources

The primary career resource for Harvard College students is the Office of Career Services. OCS events can be accessed through their very useful Google Calendar. On-campus interviewing takes place through an online application system called Crimson Careers (also known as OCR/eRecruiting). To get access to this system in time for the first resume drops, students must attend an orientation. For Fall 2009, these orientations are on Sept. 1st and 3rd (see the calendar for more details). You do not have to be part of this system to use the many other resources available at OCS.

Students interested in non-profit and other public interest careers should check out CPIC.
