Polls and webforms
New poll
You can create a poll to allow other Eliotites to choose one option out of several. Users must sign in to vote. Site visitors can see partial results, even without voting. Once someone has voted, they cannot change their vote. All voting is anonymous; no one can inspect the votes of others through the website.
New survey(webform)
Create a webform to collect text and other complex responses (textfields, checkboxes, option groups). Only you and the webmaster(s) will be able to access the submissions of the form.
When you create the form, you will be able to choose who can submit the form. If you want submissions to be anonymous, leave only 'anonymous user' checked. If you want only Eliot affiliates to be able to post, leave only 'authenticated user' checked.
Be sure to make use of the "Limit the number of submissions a user may send within a specified amount of time" (Advanced webform features) function if it applies to you. This feature is reliable only if you don't allow anonymous submissions.
