Deadlines & Instructions for Completing your Premed File

Policy on Deadlines

The deadlines described here are set to allow applicants and the committee to furnish necessary materials to the medical schools in a timely fashion. The medical schools enforce their own deadlines, and a number of offices (MCAT, AMCAS, and our committee) may each need several weeks to carry out their own work on your application. Do not expect any of these offices to perform their work instantaneously. If you turn in your materials late, expect your application to be delayed in proportionate measure. This could reduce or eliminate your chances of acceptance at a medical school. Remember, we're here to serve you, so please help us by submitting your materials on time.
