Words from Eliot Alumni
We would love to hear your recollections from the time you spent in Eliot! Undergraduates are very much interested in learning about how life in the house was in the past. We will share some of your comments with the house community and use them when we compile narratives about Eliot's history.
Here are some ideas about what you could include:
- Did the house look different when you were here?
- Which places in the house did you enjoy and spend time frequently in?
- Who were the housemasters and what memories do you have of them?
- Were there any tutors or classmates that you remember?
- What are some of the traditions that were followed?
- And most importantly: How would you describe the house spirit at the time?
- and How was Eliot different from the other houses?
- We are also interested in comments about how student life was in general during the time that you were here, or about how you spent your college years (What are some of the places that were popular around campus? How many classes would you take and how much would you study? What were the most valuable things that you learned while you were here?)
