Faculty Roundtable: Matthew Potts

Matthew Potts, Associate Professor of Religion and Literature at the Divinity School, will lead us in a conversation on forgiveness.  What is forgiveness?  When, if ever, are we obliged to forgive?  What should forgiveness look like in the aftermath of violence?  Does forgiveness foster peace at the expense of justice?
