Eliot competes against other Houses in athletic events throughout the year. All Eliotites are welcome to join. There are options for all levels of experience and competition, from A-league basketball to volleyball B (where both teams get points for winning as long as they send teams to compete). View the weekly IMs schedule on the Elephant in the Room (EITR) in the dining hall, on the House calendar, or in your email at the start of each week!

**What's at stake? The Straus Cup!**

The Straus Cup is Harvard's highly coveted intramurals season trophy for upperclassmen houses. It's awarded at the end of the spring season and goes to the house with the most points, which are tallied at every event. Houses earn 20 points for a win, 10 points for a loss, and -20 points for a forfeit. Eliot last won the Straus Cup in 2004 under the leadership of Stephen J. Robbins and Paul F. Gilligan. Last year, Eliot House finished in third place.
