Isaac Blumfield

Hello Eliot! My name is Isaac and I'm a second-year PhD in Music Composition at the GSAS. 

Before coming to Harvard, I studied composition and electronic music at New England Conservatory and the conservatories of Basel, Switzerland and Vienna. Outside of composing, I'm also active as a performer of improvised experimental music, playing modular synthesizer. I'll be helping to run a new synthesizer club at Eliot House and look forward to meeting anyone interested in learning more about electronic music or classical music!
