Siobhan Greatorex-Voith

Resident Tutor

Hello Eliot! I’m a computational social scientist teaching in the psychology and sociology departments in FAS and in psychology at the DCE. I came to my PhD in sociology through interdisciplinary training in psychology and computer science, with earlier research on higher education policy at the intersections of economics, psychology, and education. Before grad school, I worked across several industries, and I’m happy to chat about non-profit work, higher ed policy, project management, or research careers beyond academia.

I’m currently finishing my dissertation on how college shapes long-term stress and mental health, with a focus on first-generation, low-income students. In Eliot, I serve as a Culture & Community tutor. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active (I’m a former Stanford rower and trained yoga teacher), experimenting with plant-based recipes, exploring craft chocolate, and spending time with my cat, Elle.
