There are many internal (Harvard based) and external fellowships for postgraduate travel, research, and study. If you are a **senior** or eligible recent **alum**, consider applying to the fellowships below. For up-to-date deadlines and eligibility requirements, as well as required application materials, please read the corresponding URAF website for each fellowship.

#### **Fall Deadlines**

**Fulbright Program** (ETA, Research): The [Fulbright U.S. Student Program](https://us.fulbrightonline.org/) is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide.

**Michael C. Rockefeller Fellowship**: The [Rockefeller Fellowship](https://uraf.harvard.edu/uraf-opportunities/michael-c-rockefeller-memorial-fellowship) affords an opportunity that requires tremendous personal resources. Recipients must be able to immerse themselves in a foreign culture, perhaps traveling and living in remote areas of the world. The fellowship, therefore, is for people who are self-reliant, interested in the larger issues of the day, and above all, filled with a spirit of adventure--the fellowship is meant to encourage exploration and adventure as a means of personal growth.

[**Harvard-Cambridge Fellowships**](https://uraf.harvard.edu/uraf-opportunities/harvard-cambridge-scholarship): Four scholarships that provide funding for one year of study at Cambridge University (tuition and lodging expenses), as well as a generous stipend to cover additional expenses, transportation, and some travel.

[**Harvard-UK Fellowships**](https://uraf.harvard.edu/uraf-opportunities/harvard-uk-fellowship): Six scholarships that provide funding for one year of study at any university in the UK (please carefully read each description for additional restrictions corresponding to the different scholarships), as well as a generous stipend to cover additional expenses, transportation, and some travel.

#### **Spring Deadlines**

**Postgraduate Traveling Fellowships**: The [Traveling Fellowships](https://uraf.harvard.edu/uraf-opportunities/postgrad-traveling) provide funds to support a year of purposeful travel and cultural immersion outside the U.S. in the year after graduation. Applications need not be tailored to any of the following fellowships in particular; candidates should put forward one proposal, and will be considered for all available funding. Please note: these opportunities are subject to the Harvard travel regulations and may need to be altered according to current travel guidance.

**Postgraduate Public Service Fellowships**: The [Public Service Fellowships](https://uraf.harvard.edu/uraf-opportunities/postgrad-public-service) support meaningful public service projects undertaken after graduation. Projects may be of any length between 3 and 12 months.

**Alex G. Booth Fellowship**: The [Booth Fellowship](https://uraf.harvard.edu/uraf-opportunities/booth-fellowship) helps to defray the cost of travel and associate project expenses for an experience related to an intellectual field of interest. Eligible projects may be academic in nature (enrollment in an academic program or research) or may allow for learning in a less academic setting (an internship, service project, or travel experience). Proposals may be for any length of time up to 12 months, in any location domestic or international, within GSS guidelines. Please note: these opportunities are subject to the Harvard travel regulations and may need to be altered according to current travel guidance.
